fclones
Find duplicate files and review cleanup plans before changing them.
fclones is a Rust command-line utility that groups identical files across directories. Filters control which paths and file sizes are scanned, and reports can be exported as text, CSV, or JSON.
Discovery and cleanup are separate operations, so users can inspect results before removing or moving duplicates or replacing them with links. Dry-run mode previews changes. Some storage optimizations and copy-on-write deduplication capabilities depend on the operating system and filesystem.
