Spacedrive is a personal data and file-management project for organizing storage across devices, drives, and remote sources. Its Rust daemon handles filesystem identity, indexing, operations, and background work; clients communicate through a shared API.
The repository also contains non-Rust client code. Version 2 is under active development, with nightly CLI and daemon builds available. Those builds can break or change storage schemas, so they should be used with backups rather than treated as a stable release.
