Mousai is a GNOME desktop application for identifying songs and keeping a history of recognized music. It can capture microphone or desktop audio, preview songs, and open them through music providers.
The application is implemented in Rust with GTK4, libadwaita, and GStreamer. Recognition uses the external AudD service; its trial limits and account requirements apply. Audio can be saved for recognition when connectivity returns.
