Identity helps compare multiple versions of an image or video, such as different encodes or edits. Files can be arranged in rows or columns or opened as tabs, and a properties dialog exposes media information.
The desktop application is implemented in Rust with GTK4 and libadwaita. It uses GStreamer for video playback and glycin for images; supported formats depend on the available media plugins.
