hexyl

Inspect binary files with a color-coded hexadecimal view in your terminal.

hexyl is a command-line hex viewer for examining file contents. It uses different colors for null bytes, printable ASCII, whitespace, other ASCII characters, and non-ASCII bytes, helping users recognize patterns in binary data.

The viewer is implemented in Rust and uses Clap for its command-line interface. It is available for Linux, macOS, and Windows, and its source is dual-licensed under MIT or Apache-2.0.
